Now I know it isn't easy to speak up and to emulate Johnnys life
Especially in this world today, so full of poverty, war and strife
But we all need to help carry off some of the darkness on our back
Cause it can't all be left to just one man in black.

I sure remember coming to the forum that day and reading the sad, sad news. It was like a kick in the gut. Cashcow was such a special part of this place. I still think of him often. God bless him. Thanks for the thread, Rappa.

I never knew how much I could miss somebody that I have never met, but I sure miss Mr. Jerry/Cashcow.

And J.D., it sure did feel like someone kicked me when I heard the news - a shock.

Jerry, I think you and John and the rest are having a wonderful time together in heaven now.

Never thought I could miss my/our good friend Jerry Callaghan like I do.......I think of......and.......miss him alot....the friendship, and the good times we shared......the (good natured but serious "Cash" or "trivia") debates we used to ALWAYS have, reminded me of Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau (Grumpy Old Men) or, better yet....... the cartoon characters....."Heckle & Jeckle"

J.D. your words summed it up pretty well for me also &
you could not think of Cash Cow and NOT think of Johnny Cash and Johnny Cash.com also ......and......vice versa or............................what hilarious thing Jerry would come up with next.

Jerry I/we will always miss you.........and Love ya buddy!!!!

Your friend........Abe

Thank you for the thread Bob.

I miss our Cashcow too ...hard to believe it has been a year. What a personality ...what a genuinely nice person, and what a Cash/Carter fan! Enjoy your new home, Jerry...but we miss you here in your old one!

I also miss "CC" so much, I still have not been able to delete his email from my addresses, as if he is playing another practical joke and will send me a note any day!
He was definately a man with a heart as big as the world, and I am grateful for the time I knew him, and the great times we had together. I am looking forward to one of his bear-hugs when we meet on the other side...though I am sure I will be in a long line! (Probably a conga line, too!) Smiler

love you, big guy...

Thanks to everyone for the great pictures. Must bring back some bittersweet memories to those of you that were fortunate to have known this giant CASH fan. He seems to have left nothing but warm and sweet memories for all of you that "still miss someone."

I still miss him too! I remember standing there when he met Linda from VA the first time at CB2004; a moment I will cherish forever. There is a picture that captures this moment at Rappa's scrapbook site; maybe he will post it for me, I don't know how to post pictures on here.

Sometimes, someone comes into our life and earns a special place in our heart, Cashcow is one of those people for me.
