G'day Patsy,

Living down here in the antipodes, the only exposure I have had to Doug's music was on the Johnny Cash TV Show and I have to say the man had talent, energy and humour! I greatly enjoyed his performances. Onya, mate! Enjoy!

I loved Dough's appearances on the JC Show ...and he used to guest on a lot of other shows ...he could fiddle just like ERvin Rousch who wrote Orange Blossom Special...upside down!

Patsy, Likewise I must have first seen Doug on Johnny's show and I wanted to see him live ever since then. I have seen most everyone in the business from the time I was in my early teens and I still go see who ever comes around.

But Doug never seemed to come up this way, that is until this last August when he was 300 and some miles north of me in Havelock Ontario.

Not to brag but I called in a favor from an agent friend who put me on the guest list of the Grand Ladies of Country Music who were also at that show and I drove up on my own. I got there shortly before Doug did and watched him pu;; in in his bus.

Later I sat near him in the merch booth and got a picture with him. I told him how long I waited to see him and how much I enjoyed his show.

He was great in every way... now I just might put on his CD but I have already had 3 cups of coffee. A little too much DK and I will be bouncing off of the walls LOL

That's a good story, Craig.. His music is awesome.. He never sings a "down" song and I always keep either my feet or, if I am alone, my body moving!! Big Grin

I would love to see him live, also..
