Morgan Freeman had a very serious car wreck in the Mississippi Delta last night and was taken to a Memphis hospital.. He broke several bones but seems that he will recover..

I ALWAYS enjoyed his acting.. "Driving Miss Daisy" was a great one but my favorite was "The Shawshank Redemption" (which was written by Stephen King!!!)

Even though he was hurt VERY bad, at the scene of the wreck someone was taking pictures and he said, "No free ones, guys, no free ones." and laughed... Smiler

He's a great actor, and I hope he gets well soon. I liked him in Glory, also.He played a negro soldier in the Union army who was promoted to Sgt. Major for his dedication to all the other men in his unit.

He's due to play Nelson Mandela in a movie soon. I really hope he recovers to do it. There really does need to be a good film made about Mandela and I can only think of Freeman with the talent and gravitas to carry it off.

He is a great actor, hope he gets better soon. The car was pretty smashed up but I heard he was going to be ok.

I just read a headline which said that Freeman and his wife are planning to get a divorce. Wow! This has not been a good week for that man.

One of the best actors to ever grace the screen. Praying for his recovery and for he and his wife to salvage their marriage.

He's a great actor, no doubt, but somebody (especially him) better pray he has a good lawyer, because his wife didn't like the fact that it was her best friend that was in the wreck with him.

It is said that you never really know your wife until you meet her in court. LOL

Guess ol' Morgan forgot he wasn't a "Free-Man" yet. Maybe he could use the defense that he was just "Driving Miss Daisy"
