SCALOS - I Search the Web So You Don't Have To

God's given us years of happiness here
Now we must part
And as the angels come and call for you
The pains of grief tug at my heart

Oh my darling
My darling
My heart breaks as you take
your long journey

Thank you so much for posting those links. It was a beautiful occasion, and it was great to hear Marty give such a glowing tribute to the Carter Family and their legacy.

He said in 2004 that three people should be in the CMHF soon....Tom T. Hall, Pop Stoneman and Connie Smith. Tom and Pop are now in ....when will the CMHF get their act together and induct Connie Smith along with the person Connie most wants to see in ...Ms. Jean Shepherd!!!

I would too, but realistically do not see that happening, because she did not have that many hits on her own. I definitely think she deserves it, but knowing how reluctant the CMHF seems to be to induct women, I do not hold out much hope.
