Swedish Television has something they call "open archive" on the internet. I just found a part from a show with Carlene Carter.

Very interesting...looks like that might have been about 25 years ago or so....if Tiffany was nine....during her R & R years in Europe.

Broadcast was september 28th 1981, you can see the date in the name of the link. It is sad that they can't show any music because of the copyrights.

When we were at Cashbash last month, a group of us went to the CMHF and Carlene was appearing at the Museum Store there promoting her new cd. It is called "Stronger" and has some wonderful songs on it. She was very upbeat, friendly, and enjoyable. She sang for about a half hour, told stories about her family, laughed, cried, and gave us a wonderful performance. Then she signed cds, books, pictures, etc...anything we asked her to. Go to the Cashbash site on here, and check out some of the pictures posted ....some of the group took some really good ones of her while she was performing and signing.

She certainly was friendly and everyone I would expect June's daughter to be. A sweet, warm and welcoming person. We were right in front of her and I am still excited about meeting her.

Can you get it from mini-cassette to regular cassette? If so, I have access to equipment to move it to CD... I just don't have a mini-cassette player.

Thanks for the info, Nancy. I will see if I can find someone with a regular cassette recorder and get it transferred.

In the meantime, I'll ask around here to see if we know anybody who has a mini-cassette player.

Thanks Terry. You might want to talk to Skip, he might know how to do it.
