VERY Pretty, Birgit! Thanks for sharing with us. I love blue flowers too but they're so hard to come by around here. I have a few in My Serenity Garden and they're so pretty!
Friendship isn't about who you have known the longest...but about who came and never left your side. |

June-blue!! Well done, Birgit. Those flowers are very beautiful, just like the lady for whom they bloom ... and the lady who planted and tends them!!

Birgit: Thanks for the pictures of the beautiful blue flowers. So many things keep reminding us of Johnny and June, and how much we still miss them.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful Lady!
Thanks for sharing! Johnny and June first met in 1956, though they weren't married until 1968. "The story goes that my father walked up to her, and that the reason he came (to the Grand Ole Opry that night) was he wanted to meet her. And he said, 'I'm going to marry you one day' here between these walls, and she said, 'Sure.' They were both married (to other people) at the time. That's pretty unusual." yes, Jim Reeves did have a wonderful voice. His was one of the first 45's I ever had ...and I still love to sing that song "Four Walls," in memory of him. Luke and I did it at a jam at Cashbash this past year.

G'day Junebug, my treasured friend! I, too, love Jim Reeves' music. The man was a gentleman and had a voice like honey! He is sadly missed in this corner of the world. I love you, June!
