"Lovely work from one of the sweetest voices in the Carter Family -- sister Anita Carter -- nice stuff recorded for RCA in the 60s & 70s! Anita was fairly overlooked as a solo singer throughout her career, at least as far as breakout success goes (she likely didn't lack for the admiration and respect of her peers) -- and the material on this excellent compilation by Omni is actually far more engaging than we expected, even as longtime fans of the Carters.
