I wish I could go back to the fold for the Festival also. It begins on the 81st anniversary of the Bristol Sessions....August 1. The lineup is impressive. I see Curly Seckler will be there, and I am sure he will sing a song he recorded, written by Marty Stuart, I think, called "Mother Maybelle," a wonderful tribute to Mother Maybelle Carter. In honor of the Bristol Sessions, maybe Ken could put that on for Song of the Day someday soon. Another good one to put on for song of the day during this time would be the one on Emmylou's new album --- it concerns the music of Maybelle, Sara and A.P. The name of the song is How She Could Sing The Wildwood Flower. "June was my solid rock. She was always there. She was my counselor, comforter, everything else.
