It was purchased by the Rollins organization (owner of the Ritz Carlton, Rose Hall).

Why is it that their homes are no longer in the family...It seems that all of their properties belong to outsiders...Did no one in the family, (among 7 children) want to keep these homes in the family? It's a shame !!!

I may be mistaken, but I think John Carter still owns the cabin where so much recording was done. But I don't guess it is really up to us anyway..

FrownerThe cabin may still be owned by June and John's son, but I don't understand how or why their hmes, which I know were filled with so much love, and must hold precious memories of happy family times, are not still in the family. A former "Disco" singer now owns the home of the couple who were "Country" music icons. I don't understand it Confused

Yes, I guess Barry Gibb owns the property, but as we know now ...the home was only meant for Mr. and Mrs. John R. Cash...and fate had a way of taking care of that.
