Hi Gang,
What a weekend it was! The Johnny Cash Birthday celebration. A dream for all Cash Fans! WS drummed the night away. Joyce Holland shared stories with all. Lou and Karen also sharing those special stories and treating all so nicely. See all the friends of past and present. Galena….has it been 4 years since Memphis? It was great to see ya perform again. Of course Cash’d Out always rising to the occasion. How about that Larry Bagby sitting in for bass with the Fan Jam. Also, Jackie Floyd showing the talent of all webmaster to take a hand at I Still Miss Someone. WS sitting in the backroom with me signing drum heads and telling me some great on the road stories. Just so many memories.

A special thanks to the two that made it all possible…Bill and Shannon. Tireless hosts and folks who throw a great Cash celebration.

One more great memory, Blake’s band jamming on a corner with 30 folks gathered around cheering them on. The beat goes on.

The countdown for next year begins!
It was an honor!

Your Orange Blossom Special live segment on the radio show today was phenomenal. Keep it coming!

I'll say it again, Mike...you amaze me with your enthusiasm, your willingness to jump in and take on any task and most of all, your loyalty and friendship.

Shannon and I love you.

Right back at you guys!

Another special thanks Kevin from Cash'd Out and Larry Bagby in helping front the Jam session with me. What a thrill it was for all three of us to have WS back on those drums.

Folks, at one point I turned on the Perkins tunes in honor of the man who drummed them....mixed Matchbox-Boppin The Blue-Honey Don't-Blue Suede Shoes.....as WS recorded on all those tunes....and WS just roared through them. Maybe Bill will give ya a little taste of it on the radio next week.

Always a thrill to have the "Father of The Drumzzz" behind ya.

Mike
