ARTS, BRIEFLY Footnote Compiled by DAVE ITZKOFF Published: November 4, 2009 "The next tenant for Broadway’s Nederlander Theater was announced late Tuesday: The new musical “Million Dollar Quartet,” based on a 1956 recording session that brought together Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. Preview performances are to begin on March 13, and opening night will be sometime in April. The show, now running in Chicago, will be directed by Eric Schaeffer and includes a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux. Casting is underway."
