Could not get anything on my end.
"June was my solid rock. She was always there. She was my counselor, comforter, everything else. What a wonderful woman she was."....from the Final Interview with Kurt Loder in Bill Miller's book, Cash - An American Man. |

OK for some reason when i do a reply post on the forum it says error on page..i will try it again! in the mean time try and hilite each one, copy & paste it in your address bar and hit enter. it will take you to the video. Johnny and June first met in 1956, though they weren't married until 1968. "The story goes that my father walked up to her, and that the reason he came (to the Grand Ole Opry that night) was he wanted to meet her. And he said, 'I'm going to marry you one day' here between these walls, and she said, 'Sure.' They were both married (to other people) at the time. That's pretty unusual." That was fantastic Marion!!!!
E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY always does a pretty darn good job with the people they showcase and this one stood above the crowd I think. I thought it was refreshing to see AND hear Ms Viv, Kathy, Cindy, John Carter and, the others in the Cash circle that we normally dont get to hear from, Thanks again.....they were all GREAT!!!! 'Haggard.....you're the guy people think I am.'" ~J.R.Cash~ |

Well, the show certainly makes some good efforts: it uses some great, rare footage, and the interviews are mostly really relevant. But the number of factual mistakes and photo/context mismatches! Boy, it's just too high to count!
Weighed in my balances, the show is found wanting... |
