I seen this thread on another forum and thought of incorporating it here.
Each day post a title song of how you are feeling that day, related to a Johnny, June song or a Johnny & June duet! It will make a big difference in your day I PROMISE!!! Day: It's "I Still Miss Someone" This message has been edited. Last edited by: CashandMe, Johnny and June first met in 1956, though they weren't married until 1968. "The story goes that my father walked up to her, and that the reason he came (to the Grand Ole Opry that night) was he wanted to meet her. And he said, 'I'm going to marry you one day' here between these walls, and she said, 'Sure.' They were both married (to other people) at the time. That's pretty unusual." Well, mine would be "Walk The Line".. And the line of the song that would apply today is "I find it very, very easy to be true." I have had "my" John home for two days straight and he is my very favorite person to have around!!!
Patsy Elmore Tntarpon@comcast.net http://home.comcast.net/~tntarpon/index.html "F, huh? Lemme see if I can find F.." "Is that it, Jimmy?" "Okay, okay, I was just playing it the way I wanted to." |

Mine would be
(not sure if this is correct title) New Moon over Jamaica That song makes me want to go back there and just STAY there. I see (in my imagination) June waving her scarf in the breeze at Cinnamon Hill and John walking up the driveway and both of them sitting down to relax under a shade tree. Makes me smile... Arlene "And by the way-I'll see you later, Jack." (the last sentence from the book, "Man in Black" by Johnny Cash) |
